I am all for incense burning. Except when it sets off the fire alarm, of course. But it makes rooms smell nice and still kind of old and relaxing. I mean it leaves a bit of a mess, too, but really I have no problem with it. It adds environment to a space, you know?
So how do I keep my roommate to stop using my apples as an incense holder?

Dreams of lines that never, ever end and angry vikings with mohawks and moldy coffee. How does coffee mold, I ask you? It doesn't. So have your NICs in order, and let me sleep at night. Please please.

Why is it when I get really hungry, my stomach hurts so I don't feel like eating? Is this normal? Is my body trying to starve me? If anything I am too skinny already.
Also, there should be a law that when a tv station shows a marathon, they have to show the episodes in order. I have just begun watching this show and I have no idea who this new woman is. What happened to the other one?
Oh I looked it up. She got shot in the head. Whoever makes this a law gets my vote.

It just occurred to me that Casablanca means 'white house.' I have no idea how that is related to the movie.
Also, Brussel sprouts. Why have I never eaten a fully grown Brussel?

I am glad to announce I have defeated the mosquitoes so far this year. I generally have a habit of getting bitten up like... a dog's chew toy? Something that gets bitten alot. I thought for awhile of getting a tattoo that said BLOOD BANK (no I didn't.) But this year, not a single bite so far! All of my co-workers are scratching away, but me? Nothing. My secret? I have no idea. But I switched shampoos in March, so maybe it is that. I have also changed my route to and from work to stop at a new coffee shop, so maybe I am avoiding the mosquito lair.
I am now going to knock on some wood.

Very important PSA from the NIC department. If you get jam on your card... you do not need to come down and get it replaced. It is laminated. Just get a warm, wet washcloth and wipe it off. Also, and I really, really, can't stress this enough, for the love of all that is holy, don't put it in the dishwasher. Because then you will need to get it replaced. And I will judge you.

I am going to throw my hat in with the people who think that blowing up stuff on the NYU campus is wrong. I mean, I doubt the administraters go to ATMs a lot. The only thing accomplished is making security tougher and making it harder for students to get money to buy bagels.
That poor reporter, though. I would have pocketed at least some of it, to be honest.

So I went by a diner today, and it was named Jake's. Do you think there really is a Jake? Or ever was a Jake? I wonder if it isn't a kind of retro thing and people are like "We should name it after someone, but my name is Ezekiel and it is hard to spell. Jake is nice. Everyone can spell Jake and knows a guy named Jake that they like." And so it was named Jake's.

So today I found an old design I had scribbled down for a coffee cup that has the handle sort of on the inside. I hate it in winter, when I am drinking something hot but my hand is cold from holding it, so I designed this thing on a slow day. I still like the idea, and it looks kinda cool. I wonder if I should go to the patent office and look into it. I wonder where the patent office is...
Also, if two negatives equal a positive, why don't two positives equal a negative?
